Our purpose is to elevate and renew the family unit by strengthening family bonds, educating individuals in life application skills, and training disciples, based upon the foundation of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to do this in a way that minimizes the cost to participants, and maximizes the resources God has provided us.

Cherokee Cove Family Camp Conference Center and Retreat is located within approximately 200 private acres in the mountains of northeast Tennessee, bordering the Cherokee National Forest. It is the home of Uphill Ministries, a non-profit Christian organization.
The staff of Cherokee Cove welcomes you and looks forward to the opportunity to serve you. This is the perfect place for your men's, women's, or youth retreat, family reunion, day conference, or private get-away! Our in-house Chefs will prepare for you the most delicious food that you have ever had within a camp/conference setting! Our Nutritionist can ensure that your specific dietary needs and restrictions will be met as well. We specialize in healthy, yet extremely satisfying cuisine. We have numerous hiking trails and quiet places to relax and reflect on God’s creation. Hopefully your retreat with us will truly be a blessing to you and your family or group. STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that there is only one true and living God who has revealed Himself through the inerrant Holy Scriptures. God has revealed himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ the Son was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was crucified as our substitutionary atonement. He was dead and buried but rose again on the third day; He ascended into heaven. It is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father, that we have salvation. This same Jesus will visibly come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the fellowship of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
